OPAL for Administrators

Note: Effective June 30, 2010, the Public Education Department (PED) will increase the amount for License Application Processing Fee. View the memorandum and new licensure fee structure.

Note: The NMPED will not process any payment remitted until you have completed steps #1–2. Failure to complete steps #1–2 will result in your remitted payment being returned, which will delay your OPAL submission process.

Please Note: Strand E can not be completed by the Public Education Department until Strand D is completed by the appropriate teacher's administrator. A teacher's portfolio will not be reviewed until Strand D & E are complete.
