Bilingual Education Teacher is New Mexico's 2009 Teacher of the Year

Blythe Turner, a Bilingual Education Teacher and school Native American Liaison for the Rio Rancho Elementary School at the Rio Rancho Public Schools, has been selected as the 2009 NM Teacher of the Year.

No Child Left Behind
Access No Child Left Behind resources and become "highly qualified." In order to teach in a core academic subject, teachers must establish they are "highly qualified" for their teaching assignment.

Same Level Licensure
