If you are not currently employed in a New Mexico school and/or your license has been expired for more than one year, you must complete the NMPED Professional Licensure Unit Paper Application.
In order to use the electronic system for renewal of licensure at the same level you must have a valid email account and be currently employed in a New Mexico school and your license will expire on June 30th of the calendar year.
Only licenses is in the year of expiration are eligible for renewal. Funds will be returned to Ineligible applicants.
If you meet these requirements, follow these steps to prepare and submit the SLL online.

Submit Your PaymentThe cost to you is per submission process regardless of how many licenses you renew in one submission. The charge on your credit card bill will be from “VisionLink, Inc.” |
Check Renewal StatusCheck the status (Pending, Approved, Not Approved) of your application online. |
