Meeting the Needs of Today's Educators

This page is the result of a joint effort by TeachNM and the Educator Quality Division to address the growing needs of educators desiring to continue their professional growth. The demands placed on today's teachers and the amount of information that must be absorbed necessitate a continuous evolution in both the materials we provide and the way that they can be utilized.

The column on the right contains our latest resource offerings. In addition to documents, some of the information is in a few new formats:

Podcasts

A "podcast" is a series of downloadable media files that generally center around a specific host, topic, or theme. In the case of this resource page, we have provided MP3 audio files that feature lectures on topics relevant to educator development.

Video

Streaming video is a ubiquitous form of communication, learning, and expression amongst today's students. The lectures provided are in the cross-platform Microsoft Silverlight format and allow you to both hear and see the speaker, as well as the slides used in their presentation.
